The studio
A studio, not a showroom
Maison Lumière began in a stone farmhouse outside Aix, when a British family asked us to make a 300-year-old building warm enough to live in through winter.
Eleven years later we are five designers, one project manager and a very good joiner. We take on eight projects a year so every one of them gets the attention it deserves.

Questions
Answers, before you ask
Do you work in English?
Yes. Design meetings, quotes and site conversations are all in English, and we deal with your builder in French for you.
Can I use my own builder?
Of course. We will happily work with a team you already trust, or recommend one of the three we use most.
What does it cost?
Design fees start at 65 € per m². Furniture and building work are quoted separately so you can see where the money goes.
Studio visits by appointment.
