Twenty-eight seats, a menu written each morning after market, and a wine list that changes as often as the weather.
The room
Written at eleven, served at noon
There is no printed menu here. At eleven o'clock we walk the market, buy what looks best, and write the day's board by hand.
It is a small room with a marble bar, green panelling and a lot of regulars. Children are welcome, dogs usually are too, and nobody minds if you stay for two hours.

When to come
Reservations open four weeks ahead. The bar keeps two seats back for walk-ins every service.
Lunch
Two courses 24 €, three 29 €. The board is written at 11h, straight after market.
Tue – Fri, 12h – 14h
Dinner
Small plates to share, or the plat du jour, with natural wine by the glass.
Wed – Sat, 19h – 22h30
Private hire
The whole room for birthdays, wine dinners and long Sunday lunches.

Do you have vegetarian dishes?
Always. The board usually has one vegetable main and several vegetarian small plates.
Can we bring children?
Yes, and we have high chairs. Early sittings are the calmest with little ones.
